Best Cheap Field Service Software

Cheap field-service software is only useful if the entry plan still handles the workflows you need. We separate transparent entry pricing from platforms that require a custom quote so buyers can compare budget fit without invented numbers.

Fast answer: Jobber currently has the lowest transparent entry price in our shortlist at $49/month with no commitment or $29/month billed annually for one user. Housecall Pro starts at $79/month or $59/month billed annually for one user. Workiz, FieldPulse and ServiceTitan currently use request-pricing or custom-quote models.

What to compare before choosing a plan

  • Monthly price at the team size you actually have today
  • Whether annual billing is required to reach the advertised starting price
  • Which core workflows are included at the entry tier
  • Add-ons, extra users and features that can materially raise total cost

Why headline price can mislead

Field-service software vendors use different billing models: one-user subscriptions, included-user bundles, seat-based pricing, per-technician pricing and custom quotes. A lower starting price can become more expensive after adding users or unlocking the feature tier you actually need.

Annual billing can also make a plan look cheaper than true month-to-month pricing. We keep those structures separate and avoid assigning a dollar amount to quote-only vendors unless the vendor itself publishes it.

How we verify pricing

We use current vendor pricing pages and official help documentation as the source of truth. Prices, packaging, taxes, add-ons and promotions can change, so verify the final quote directly with the vendor before purchasing.
