Jobber vs Housecall Pro Pricing

Jobber and Housecall Pro both publish current prices, making this one of the few clean cost comparisons in field-service software. The cheaper plan is not automatically the better value because feature gating and included users differ.

Fast answer: For one user, Jobber currently starts lower: Core is $49/month or $29/month billed annually. Housecall Pro Basic is $79/month or $59/month billed annually. As teams grow, compare included users and required features rather than multiplying the entry price.

What to compare before choosing a plan

  • Entry price for one user
  • Which plan contains the automation, accounting and sales features you need
  • Included users at higher tiers
  • Annual commitment versus no-commitment pricing
  • Paid add-ons and payment-processing economics

Why headline price can mislead

Field-service software vendors use different billing models: one-user subscriptions, included-user bundles, seat-based pricing, per-technician pricing and custom quotes. A lower starting price can become more expensive after adding users or unlocking the feature tier you actually need.

Annual billing can also make a plan look cheaper than true month-to-month pricing. We keep those structures separate and avoid assigning a dollar amount to quote-only vendors unless the vendor itself publishes it.

How we verify pricing

We use current vendor pricing pages and official help documentation as the source of truth. Prices, packaging, taxes, add-ons and promotions can change, so verify the final quote directly with the vendor before purchasing.
